THERMALLY MODIFIED WOOD PRODUCER MOVING INTO LONG-VACANT OSB MILL

Table of Contents

This summer, Arbor Wood Co. hopes to begin manufacturing thermally modified wood siding and decking at the former Ainsworth OSB mill in Grand Rapids, Mi.,

The company purchased a portion of the 138 acre complex in 2020 and has begun converting the site and acquiring equipment, anticipating it will be ready to start production by mid-summer.

Ainsworth mothballed the facility in 2006 due to low OSB prices and deemed the closure permanent in 2008.
