Ogden & Adams Building Solutions, Cedar Rapids, Ia., is acquiring the assets of Maquoketa Lumber Co., Maquoketa, Ia., and Bellevue Lumber, Bellevue, Ia.
“We are excited to welcome the customers and staff of Maquoketa and Bellevue Lumber to Ogden & Adams,” said Marty Hoeger, owner of Ogden & Adams. “Both companies place a high value on customer service and delivering quality products to our customers.”
Mark Maze, owner of both Maquoketa and Bellevue Lumber, will assist with the transition. Maze said, “I am proud of our staff and the business we built. The merging of these two companies will be good for our employees and customers and I think it is very exciting opportunity.”
The companies specialize in lumber packages, millwork, siding, roofing, windows and doors. Ogden & Adams plans to retain all staff and to continue operations under its current flagship name Ogden & Adams Building Solutions at the current Maquoketa and Bellevue Lumber facilities.
“The addition of these great companies and its experienced and talented staff expands our service offering, our sales footprint and increases our buying power,” Hoeger added. “The team at both Maquoketa and Bellevue Lumber brings significant industry experience and skill set. Together, we are more than 40 employees and have the capabilities and assets to conduct significantly more business in eastern Iowa.”
Ogden Adams currently operates locations in Hiawatha, Delhi and Manchester, Ia.
