The courses will help professionals build new skills, deepen their knowledge, and advance their careers. The training is ideal for all lumberyard, sales, office and managment-level personnel. Topics include grading fundamentals, yield improvement, quality control, and more.
The first is set for July 21-23 at Ron Jones Hardwoods, Franklin, Pa., led by NHLA instructor Tom Byers, with special guest speaker Kirt Metcalf, of Wagner Meters.
Highland Lumber & Mill will host the next course Aug. 26-28 at its new location in Fullerton, Ca., led by NHLA instructor Roman Matyushchenko.
