The store is currently being remodeled and is scheduled to open as a Great Lakes Ace Hardware on Oct. 12. A grand opening celebration is planned in mid-November.

Bellerive True Value owner Bruce Tassin will continue to manage the store team, many of whom have been retained after the acquisition. During the renovation, the location will remain open for sales and service of Stihl products.

It will also sell lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing, and electrical supplies. The location will also feature several specialty departments and store-within-a-store concepts:

The Backyard BBQ department will feature a full range of grills and BBQ accessories from such leading brands as Weber, Big Green Egg, and Traeger.

In addition to Stihl power equipment, the outdoor power equipment department will feature a full range of electric, and battery-powered blowers, chain saws, mowers, and string trimmers from manufacturers such as EGO, DeWalt, Craftsman, and Toro.

We are eager to show our new neighbors how Great Lakes Ace lives the Ace Helpful Promise every day by delivering reliable service, helpful advice, and products to help them get their projects done right.”
