Weyerhaeuser Co. has opened a new distribution center in Billings, Mt., as part of an Inland Northwest expansion that started last year with the acquisition of a distribution center in Spokane, Wa. These new locations enable the company to provide improved service to lumber and building materials customers across the West.

Weyerhaeuser Distribution reached a significant milestone in the business' continued growth journey. The Inland Northwest expansion is officially complete, as the newest distribution center in Billings, Montana, began operations in early January. This expanded geographic reach enhances service for customers across the West and marks an important moment for the business and the lumber and building materials customers Distribution proudly serves.

The Billings location represents a long-term investment in strengthening the company's supply chain presence throughout the Northern Rockies. Situated in a high-visibility location parallel to I-90, the warehouse and yard were renovated to meet Weyerhaeuser's safety and operational practices. This new distribution center is designed to support sales growth, improve logistical efficiency and deliver a seamless customer experience.

Earlier in the expansion process, the Distribution Division finalized the acquisition of Wausau Supply Co.'s Spokane facility. Operations in Spokane began last July, allowing the business to serve customers throughout Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho with continuity and confidence.

Both the Billings and Spokane distribution centers offer a broad product portfolio featuring the brands builders and dealers rely on and trust. This Inland Northwest expansion strengthens our customer support, deepens partnerships and positions Weyerhaeuser Distribution for sustained, long-term growth across the region.
