KODIAK INTERIORS ADDS MOUNTAIN LAND DESIGN

Kodiak Interiors Group, Englewood, Co., has acquired Mountain Land Design, with six showrooms in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming

Kodiak Interiors Group, Englewood, Co., has acquired Mountain Land Design, South Salt Lake, Ut., a family-owned appliance, plumbing and hardware business serving Utah, Wyoming and Idaho.

Mountain Land Design will retain its brand, leadership and existing customer relationships. The company will gain access to Kodiak’s operational resources and collaborate with other businesses in the group.

“Kodiak Interiors Group gives us the ability to continue to grow into new markets without losing what makes us who we are,” Mountain Land Design president Dan Devenport said.

Established in 1987, Mountain Land Design serves customers, contractors and manufacturer partners, specializing in decorative hardware, plumbing fixtures, and home appliances. It operates showrooms in Salt Lake City, Cedar City, and Provo, Ut.; Boise and Ketchum, Id.; and Jackson, Wy.

With the acquisition, Kodiak Interiors Group now has six operating companies serving customers across nine states. The deal expands its presence in the Mountain West, adding to existing operations in Colorado and the Pacific Northwest. 

Financial terms were not disclosed. 

Kodiak Interiors Group broke off from Kodiak Building Partners before KBP's recent acquisition by QXO.
