Foundation Building Materials, one of North America’s largest specialty distributors of wallboard, suspended ceiling systems, and insulation, has completed the acquisitions of two specialty distributors in the Midwest to enhance its growth strategy and expand its product offerings.
Foundation purchased 30+-year-old RM Supply, with branches in Wentzville and Herculaneum, Mo., and near-70-year-old ceiling products distributor ArmCom Distributing Co., a division of the St. Paul Linoleum and Carpet Co. ArmCom has five branches: St. Louis Park and Rochester, Mn.; Fargo, N.D.; Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Omaha, Ne.
Based in Tustin, Ca., Foundation operates more than 220 branches across the U.S. and Canada.
