Kelly Hambidge has been promoted to president and CFO of Canyon Lumber Co., Inc., Everett, Wa.
Jake Hambidge has been promoted to vice president in charge of log purchasing and sales.
Kelly and Jake are fourth-generation family members leading the company.
Canyon Lumber originally started in the Robe Canyon east of Everett in the late 1800s, later moving to Everett, where they built a new mill that opened in 1907.
The company manufactures 100% Douglas fir SFI-certified specialty products for high-end commercial and residential structures such as hotels, lodges, shopping centers, schools and homes, where the architecture calls for high-quality, exposed Douglas fir products.
Its SFI-certified green building products include: Kiln Dried Beams, Architectural Posts and Beams, Kiln Dried Clear Posts, Bridge Timbers, Douglas Fir Scaffold Plank, and Douglas Fir Clear Finish Boards.
