The deal marks YBC’s fourth acquisition in the last three years. Growth, however, is far from complete for the 16-store chain, which has other acquisitions already in the works.
At Berlin Lumber, YBC expects few changes, and all 24 employees were expected to continue. Former owner/president Doug Brant will stay on for “the immediate future.”
