SRS Distribution Inc. has acquired LS Building Products, a wholesale distributor of roofing, lumber, siding, windows, doors, millwork and other complementary building products based in Illinois. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Headquartered in East Peoria, Il., LS was founded in 1950 and was owned and operated by Troy Reed, Matt Jaeger, and Dan Schumacher. The company operates four distribution locations and three production facilities throughout Central Illinois and employs a team of more than 220 people. The former owners will continue to lead the business going forward, ensuring continuity and consistency for customers, suppliers, and employees.
