Three-unit Colorado dealer Rocky Mountain Rebar & Lumber has been renamed Rocky Mountain Building Solutions to stress that the company provides much more than 2x4s and rebar.
For over 48 years, the company has been a trusted partner for contractors and builders. Yards in Delta, Montrose and Telluride, Co., provide lumber, rebar fabrication, Benjamin Moore paint, and a wide range of building materials across Colorado’s Western Slope, eastern Utah, northern New Mexico, Wyoming, and northeastern Arizona.
Its history dates back to its founding in 1978 as H&H Bolt & Supply, providing roof control products to the underground coal mining industry in Delta.
In 1980, rebar fabrication was added to serve the growing construction needs of western Colorado, operating under the registered trade name Rocky Mountain Rebar (RMR). As the region's building industry expanded, so did its services—growing from mining supply and rebar fabrication into a full-service lumberyard and building materials supplier.
