Maximo Wood, a leading high-performance wood brand, is expanding its availability in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex through Big D Lumber Co. The full-service independent lumberyard will offer Maximo Thermo Ayous products at its Richardson and Burleson, Tx., locations, giving building professionals in the region greater access to thermally modified wood solutions for interior and exterior applications.

The addition of Big D Lumber Company strengthens Maximo Wood’s distribution network in Texas, extending the brand’s reach across the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Building professionals will be able to access Maximo Thermo Ayous at Big D’s Richardson, Haslet and Burleson locations, with more products from Maximo’s portfolio coming soon.

Big D currently offers Maximo Thermo Ayous Smooth 1x6 tongue-and-groove boards with a reversible profile and Maximo Thermo Ayous Fluted 1x6 tongue-and-groove boards. Maximo Thermo Ayous provides a lightweight wood solution for applications including wall and ceiling cladding. Maximo also offers Thermo Ayous with built-in Burnblock fire-retardant, a WUI-compliant treatment designed to deliver durable, consistent fire resistance throughout the board.
