Maximo Wood, a leading high-performance wood brand, has formed new partnerships within its ADENTRA distribution network to now include Hardwoods Specialty Products East and Rugby Architectural Building Products East. These partnerships build on Maximo’s existing relationship with Hardwoods Specialty Products West and expand product availability in additional markets.

The new distribution partners will carry Maximo’s full portfolio, including tropical hardwoods such as ipe, cumaru, garapa, alongside thermally modified ash, ayous, clear radiata and Scandinavian pine.

Hardwoods Specialty Products stocks Maximo through two divisions: Hardwoods West (covering the West Coast, Arizona and Hawaii) and Hardwoods East, serving Minneapolis, Mn.; Grand Rapids, Mi.; and Texas. Hardwoods also serves the Chicago market from its Elkhart, In., warehouse. In Colorado, Rugby West carries Maximo products.

“Maximo is continuing to expand its distribution network, adding more stocking dealers with the goal of making its products readily available to building professionals in more markets,” said Guto Fugiwara, COO of Maximo Wood. “Working with Hardwoods and Rugby ABP teams gives more pros access to our products and provides additional options for sourcing our wood solutions.”

Based in Miami, Fl., Maximo’s portfolio includes Maximo Thermo Pre-Finished products, which use advanced factory-applied finishing technology to deliver consistent color, refined texture and long-term surface protection. Maximo also offers Thermo Ayous with BurnBlock technology, a WUI-compliant fire-retardant treatment designed to deliver durable, consistent fire resistance throughout the board.

Maximo Thermo products are made using an advanced thermal modification process that uses only heat and steam. This process improves dimensional stability and creates a lightweight, insect-resistant material that is easier to handle and install. The result is a durable wood product backed by a 20-year warranty for interior and exterior use.

Maximo Wood unites the performance of thermally modified timber with the timeless appeal of tropical hardwoods. Through its Maximo Thermo and Maximo Hardwoods lines, it offers builders and dealers a reliable, beautiful and sustainable alternative to traditional domestic woods. It’s the kind of product that keeps customers coming back.

Earlier this year, Maximo Wood announced a new partnership with DesignOneSource, Hardwoods Specialty Products’ 30-location architectural specification division.
