Mark Yamayoshi has acquired the shuttered Richland Ace Hardware, Ceres, Ca., and reopened the business March 15 as Ceres Ace Hardware.
Former owner Rob Nelson closed the store last year.
Yamayoshi also owns Patterson Ace Hardware, Patterson, Ca., and Newman Ace Hardware, Newman, Ca.
The new location has eight employees, with more to be added as business ramps up. Departments include power tools, paint, barbecues, electric blowers, chainsaws, automotive, housewares, plumbing, electric, gardening supplies, and more. Brands include Stihl, Benjamin Moore paint, Forney welding supplies, Milwaukee, Dewalt tools, EGO, Craftsman, Traeger and Big Green Egg.
Yamayoshi anticipates holding a grand opening in April.
