Westlake Ace Hardware plans to open its first location in Oregon. The new store will be at 178 West Ellendale Ave. in Dallas, Or., a growing community of approximately 17,000 residents located west of Salem.
Westlake Ace recently purchased a 22,000 sq. ft. store—formerly a Rite Aid Pharmacy—and will remodel it to feature more than 18,000 sq. ft. of retail space. Renovations are scheduled to begin in late 2025, with a soft opening anticipated for spring 2026.
“We are excited to introduce the Westlake Ace Hardware experience to our new customers in Oregon and look forward to becoming an active member of the Dallas community,” said Joe Jeffries, president and CEO of Ace Retail Holdings, parent company of Westlake Ace Hardware. “Our team is committed to living out the Ace Helpful Promise every day by offering trusted advice, dependable service, and the top-quality products our customers need to complete their projects with confidence.”
The Dallas store will feature a full range of lawn and garden supplies, tools, fasteners, plumbing, and electrical products to help customers with home improvement, repair, and maintenance projects. Services will include key fob replacement, propane tank exchange, and home delivery.
The Kitchen Connection at Westlake Ace Hardware—a popular store-within-a-store concept from Westlake Ace—will offer gourmet foods, cookware, kitchen tools, and linens. Customers can also expect to find trusted and popular brands, including:
• Weber, Big Green Egg, Blackstone, and Traeger grills and accessories
• Milwaukee, Craftsman, and Dewalt power tools
• Diablo saw blades and accessories
• Benjamin Moore and Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines paints
• EGO, Milwaukee, and Stihl outdoor power equipment
• Scotts and Miracle-Gro lawn and garden care products

Dallas-area multi-family properties, businesses, schools, and municipalities will have access to more than 800,000 products, including commercial lighting, appliances, and safety and cleaning supplies, through the new store’s Westlake Commercial representatives.
