PhilaPort, the Port of Philadelphia, Pa., has broken ground on a new 100,000-sq. ft. warehouse to facilitate the use and handling of forest products.

PhilaPort, the Port of Philadelphia, Pa., has broken ground on a new 100,000-sq. ft. warehouse to facilitate the use and handling of forest products.

The new $12-million on-dock warehouse at the Tioga Marine Terminal will feature indoor rail loading for 10 railcars and truck loading docks, and clear span staging areas with extra-high ceilings.
The new warehouse, along with related rail improvements, should be complete by the end of first quarter 2020.
