NAWLA has continued to monitor the rapidly evolving situation regarding COVID-19, captured your feedback and engaged in dialogue with our key stakeholders to inform these decisions. With this information and the uncertainty surrounding the current public health situation, we believe this to be the only path forward.

2020 Traders Market | November 4-6 | Greater Columbus Convention Center

The in-person 2020 Traders Market event scheduled for this November in Columbus has been cancelled. At this time, NAWLA plans to host the 2021 Traders Market in Louisville, Kentucky, November 10-12, 2021, as scheduled.

In place of this year’s in-person event, NAWLA will host a fully virtual member experience this fall, with relevant education, opportunities to connect with your customers and suppliers, and other elements of the Traders Market you have come to enjoy throughout the event’s history.

NAWLA will be sharing additional details about this virtual member experience in the coming weeks. In the meantime, please plan to join us.

If you have registered for the in-person Traders Market, or signed on as a sponsor or exhibitor, please watch for a follow-up communication from NAWLA Headquarters later today with additional details.

Fall Wood Basics | September 14-18 | Oregon State University

NAWLA’s Fall Wood Basics Course, originally scheduled for September 14-18, 2020 in Corvallis, Oregon, has also been cancelled. All Fall Wood Basics registrants will also receive an additional email from NAWLA today with details about your registration and hotel reservation.

Our Education Committee will investigate supplemental virtual education to support your transition into the forest products industry until it is safe to hold the course in-person again in 2021. Please watch for these updates in the coming weeks.

Regional Meetings

At this time, NAWLA’s Board of Directors is leaving the decisions regarding future Regional Meetings to each committee that is responsible for organizing them, using the best information available to them about the conditions in their regions.

Please accept our sincere appreciation for your continued support of NAWLA, and your patience as we determined this course of action.

If you have additional questions or concerns after you receive our follow up communications today, please contact NAWLA Headquarters.
