Gold Beach Lumber, Gold Beach, Or., has agreed to purchase the business assets and real estate of Dazey’s Hubbards, Medford, Or., from Dazey’s Supply, Garberville, Ca.
Both parties hope to close the deal by the end of the year.
The Medford location—the oldest hardware store in Oregon, founded in 1884—had been known as Hubbard’s Hardware until it was acquired eight years ago by Dazey’s Supply. Dazey’s Hubbards specializes in paint, hardware, garden, farm & ranch, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, outdoor power equipment, and lumber.
The move marks Gold Beach Lumber’s third acquisition this year and will bring the company to 10 locations across Oregon.
The expansion will give Gold Beach Lumber a stronger presence in southern Oregon and build on the company’s long history of serving both contractors and homeowners across the region. Dazey’s Hubbards and Gold Beach Lumber will continue normal operations until the sale is completed in December.
