Authorities are investigating a late-night fire Sept. 8 at Weaber Inc.'s sawmill and headquarters location in Lebanon County, Pa.
The company had filed a WARN notice in July at its nearby distribution center, indicating that 145 employees would be laid off from July 26 through Sept. 9. On Aug. 1, Weaber filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Firefighters spent eight hours battling the fire well into the next before before they were able to get it under control.
The hardwood lumber and millwork manufacturer was founded in 1941.
