Caseywood Corp., Grass Valley, Ca., has been purchased by Central Valley Builders Supply

Central Valley Builders Supply, Napa, Ca., has acquired fellow multi-generational, family-run building supply business Caseywood Corp., Grass Valley, Ca.

Founded in 1985, Caseywood has been a leading supplier of building materials to professional contractors in the greater Tahoe Truckee markets as well as the Sierra Nevada foothill market. Initially founded by John T. Casey, for over 30 years the business has been run by John’s two sons, Kevin and Mark Casey, as well as John’s son-in-law, Brent Fraser. Caseywood has established itself as an integral player in their markets as they continue to experience significant growth.

The family explains, “Caseywood represents the legacy and vision of our father and father-in-law, John T. Casey. This legacy is sacred to the three of us and, as such, we chose Central Valley as the perfect strategic buyer that allows this legacy to continue for years to come all under the Caseywood brand.”

Both companies are committed to delivering premium lumber, engineered wood, moulding, millwork, hardware, fencing and decking products. Central Valley’s acquisition of Caseywood Corporation will result in an expanded footprint across Northern California, encompassing five retail locations three sourcing lumberyard locations, a design center, a door and window shop, two rail yards, and a combined workforce of approximately 240 employees.

Caseywood continues to be a key partner to the building contractor supplying framing, siding, doors windows, roofing, millwork and hardware. With sales exceeding $25 Million, Caseywood continues to grow with two warehouses, a complete custom door and millwork shop, eight delivery trucks, 4 acres of inventory storage, sales offices and a full product showroom.
