Boise Cascade Co. Boise, Id., is acquiring Taiga Building Products' building materials distribution facilities in Rocklin and Sanger, Ca.

The acquisition will expand Boise Cascade’s distribution capacity and strengthen its ability to serve customers throughout Northern and Central California, the California Coast, and Northern Nevada. Boise Cascade currently operates 39 distribution locations in the U.S., and the Rocklin and Sanger facilities will further extend the company’s distribution presence in the Golden State. The acquisition will also enhance the company’s general line product capabilities and support the continued growth of its recently expanded partnership with James Hardie.

“This acquisition is a great fit for our business and an exciting next step in our growth strategy,” said Jo Barney, executive vice president of Boise Cascade’s Building Materials Distribution division. “These locations complement our existing operations in California, and we’re excited about the opportunities this expansion will create for our customers and our business. I look forward to welcoming the Taiga team to Boise Cascade.”

The transaction is expected to close by mid-November 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. Taiga’s other locations and products are not included in the transaction and will continue to be owned and operated by Taiga.
