Builders FirstSource, Irving, Tx., has acquired family-owned Gleckler and Sons Construction and Gleckler & Sons Building Supplies, with 11 locations serving home builder customers in central, northeast and western Florida.
Founded in 2016 by Kip Gleckler as a truss plant in Jacksonville, the chain grew rapidly through strategic purchases, including Truss Systems in Bunnell (2020), Accu-Span Truss (2021), Buck Lumber & Supply in Orlando (2022), LLT's Building Supplies (2024), Raymond Building Supply, and a new 60,000-sq. ft. facility in Ocala (early 2026).
In total, locations are in Jacksonville, Bunnell, Ormond Beach, Longwood, Tampa (2), Longwood, Mascotte, Lakeland, Sanford and Ocala, Fl.
These operations will enhance BFS's capabilities to provide residential framing services, roof and floor trusses, exterior doors, millwork and other building materials. Gleckler's core products are manufactured floor and roofs, framing materials, trim and doors and exterior products.

It also assembles interior and exterior doors into pre-hung units for easy installation. Additionally, it distributes a wide range of building products, including lumber, sheet goods, windows, doors, millwork, and specialty items. Its services, which vary by market, include professional installation, turnkey framing, and shell construction.
