ABMDA, Inc., the nation’s largest buying group exclusively dedicated to independent two-step wholesale distributors in the building materials industry, is pleased to announce that its membership has voted to accept American Lumber Company of Walden, N.Y., as its newest member.
This announcement comes during a period of remarkable growth for ABMDA, which has recently welcomed seven additional two-step distributors. In tandem with this expansion, ABMDA has launched or enhanced rebate programs with seven new manufacturers and expanded existing programs with several long-time supplier partners. These new and improved programs create added value for both distributor members and the members of our Allied Suppliers Group.
Since its founding in 1975, ABMDA has remained a steadfast advocate for independent distributors—fostering growth, innovation, and collaboration across the industry.
“We are thrilled to add American Lumber Company to our world-class group of 2-step distributors,” said Garry Tabor, Executive Vice President of ABMDA. “For over 70 years, American Lumber Co. has established itself as a leader in sustainable forest management. Additionally, each of their sawmills employs a Certified Forester to ensure best practices are followed in protecting our natural resources”, said Tabor.
