Sound Seal, Agawam, Ma., has acquired Noise Barriers, LLC, Libertyville, Il., to operate as a stand-alone division.
Noise Barrier produces noise control products such as QuietSwing, QuietSlide and QuietLift doors, QuietLine and QuietPerf panels, and QuietLite windows.
Steve Mitchell, founder of Noise Barriers, will remain on board as an advisor to Sound Seal CEO Joe Lupone and actively involved in the training of channel partners and new product development. Mark Campbell continues as president of Noise Barriers and John Finnegan as national sales manager.
