TJ Rosengarth, former president of Northwest Hardwoods, has been named the new president and CEO of Collins, Portland, OR., effective Feb. 15.

TJ Rosengarth, former president of Northwest Hardwoods, has been named the new president and CEO of Collins, Portland, OR., effective Feb. 15.

He has more than 30 years in the industry, starting at Willamette Industries in 1985, then as VP of Weyerhaeuser’s composite business, chief operating officer of Flakeboard, and leader of Northwest Hardwoods until 2018.

He succeeds Eric Schooler, who is retiring after 20+ years as head of the company.

Rosengarth becomes the ninth president in Collins’ history.

Family-owned since 1855, Collins produces wood products, including softwoods, hardwoods, NAF pine particleboard, TruWood Siding & Trim. The company was the first privately-owned forest products business in the US to be certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), and has more than 311,000 acres of FSC-certified forest lands in California, Oregon and Pennsylvania, as well as five manufacturing facilities in the United States, and one retail yard in California. Divisions are located in: Kane, PA., Chester, CA., Lakeview and Klamath Falls, OR.
