LAVALLEY’S ACQUIRES NH LUMBERYARD

Gilford Home Center, Gilford, N.H., has been acquired by LaValley Building Supply and renamed LaValley’s Gilford Building Supply.

Gilford becomes LaValley’s 14th retail locations, joining other stores in New Hampshire and Vermont, in addition to manufacturing facilities and a sawmill.

Bill Finethy had owned the business for the last 37 years and did not have any family members who wanted to take over. He chose LaValley because they offered “the best fit, the least amount of changes, the least amount of disruption to what we’ve built here at Gilford Home Center.”
