Kuzman Winds Down Operations

Greg Thelen, owner of Kuzman Forest Products, Hillsboro, Or., is retiring Sept. 1 after 45 years in the wholesale distribution business and closing the company.

Kuzman Forest Products was founded in 1956 by Gene Kuzman, who passed away last year after retiring in 1991, when he sold his company to longtime associate Thelen.

Thelen has been liquidating the last of the inventory over the summer and will lease out his facility to a non-lumber industry firm.
