Galloway Lumber, Kirksville, Mo., filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection May 5, but intends to reopen after restructuring.

Kim Galloway, who co-owns the 30-year-old yard with her son, said the business would reopen June 18 under new management as well as a new business model.

The owners also plan to sell part of the property and lease another part.
