Market Resource Associates will conduct a series of focus groups with professional deck builders around the country in 2010.

Each group will seat eight contractors who use wood, vinyl, plastic, composite and other decking materials. Most time will be spent specifically on deck tops, accessories, railings and systems, lighting, replacement decking, and other outdoor living enhancements.

Sessions will be held Feb. 25 in Minneapolis, Mn.; March 9 in Atlanta, Ga.; March 11 in Denver, Co.; March 15 in Portland, Or., and Sept. 16 in Baltimore, Md.

During the year, MRA will also conduct focus groups on fencing and outdoor hardscape.
