New Hardware Store Bullish on Maine:
Three Rivers Hardware opened in late April, in a 12,000-sq. ft. historic building in Milo, Me. The store replaces the former Milo True Value, which was destroyed by an arson fire in 2008.
The new store, part of the Do it Best chain, created four jobs in a region plagued by high unemployment and stocks Maine products such as wood pellets and homemade jams and syrups.
